The day(s) that the rains came down

Wet!

Last November was a little damp to say the least.

Seventh of November

I wandered off on my usual walk and even bothered to snap an umbel

There's a drain (?)or sewer pipe(?) that runs down next to Stubbing lane, it was a tad overwhelmed by the downpour.

This overflow is normally almost totally dry.

Deep Lock bywash blasting into the pound.

This is Deep Lock bywash as it passes under High Ground bridge. The railing is on a small footbridge over the bywash - completely under water.

Something I've never seen before: a lock (Deep)  overflowing.

Stret Lock bywash

The overflow - usually dry - in full spate.

This drain is at least six feet deeper than normal.

Another drain at the side of Stubbing Lane.

Field turned into lake

More to come
