Town & back

Walked to town (Wilko's: no own brand cat food!!)
Glorious sunny day. Took some pics for t'other blog to show bits of lock.

A frequently seen angler asked that I take his pic & put it on t'web, so here they are:

He's always accompanied by his puppy.
Fishin' ain't my thing but his looks like a pretty good way to spend a sunny day.
The pics I took for the lock stuff:

  1. I was amazed how many fish in the lakes at Shireoakes. Grand Day for it.

  2. Personally, I think angling is on of the most boring hobbies. Those lakes (presumably you mean these?) are beautiful.

  3. They are beautiful lakes and the house looks like it used to be grand too. I'd love one of the outbuildings. Fishing can be v boring, and traumatic when you are left with your dads line whilst he has gone to the pub for a pint - and a fish bites!!! But on a summers day - its a great excuse to be outdoors.
