Up late: to town (via lake & canal), on to the Canch and back.
Grebe still sitting on her nest. I'm not sure what the grebes are doing, we seem to be back to three pairs of which two have nests about as far apart as they can get. The "middle" two have attempted to build a nest but it was in a really stupid place and was soon demolished by all the other birds.
